LeBron James’ next stop for the upcoming 24th season is putting the NBA world on alert.
With the free agency period underway for more than three weeks, King James’ decision on where he will end up in his 24th season is getting closer.
Various media reports point out that James may announce the decision any time soon as he has already made up his mind.
An NBA insider, Shams Charania, previously reported that James, after reviewing the team’s pitches via voice notes through his agent, Rich Paul, has shortlisted the following three teams: Cavaliers, 76ers and Heat.
Charania reported that King James is getting closer to making a decision, saying: “It’s a decision for LeBron James… The main suitors have been CLE, MIA, GSW, PHI, AMND mi… LeBron James has made it clear privately that he wants to go somewhere where he can compete for a championship.”
“Somewhere you feel like you find that happiness in a team environment and a CULTURE that you can elevate,” he added while appearing on ESPN.
To put it in context, this is the fifth time James has hit the free agency market, and being the biggest free agent on the market is what’s driving feverish heights.
King James, 41, said goodbye to the Los Angeles Lakers last month and said he wants to play somewhere else.
LeBron James is the NBA’s all-time leading scorer and has won four championships in his career: two with the Miami Heat, one with the Cavaliers and one with the LA Lakers.
