All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star Kenny Omega criticized a social media user for a comment made about Will Ospreay and Charlie Kirk.

Omega, who is friends with Ospreay in and out of the ring, slammed the card.
“What the fuck is wrong with you? It’s not hard to try to have some class,” he wrote in response.
“A dear friend is recovering from a career-threatening injury, no doubt still struggling with the pain today, and somehow he’s made fun of and compared to a guy who was murdered. I understand that a joke is a joke, but in my opinion, these things should be kept separate.”

When an X user came to the commentator’s defense, Omega responded once again.
“Please extend my apologies, truly. Perhaps I have become too sensitive after my own brush with death. I also know more than most about Will’s efforts behind the scenes, so it was sad to see such a harsh comparison,” the current AEW champion added.
Kirk, a conservative commentator and founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed during an event on the Utah Valley University campus in September. Tyler Robinson was arrested for Kirk’s murder.
