Cher once again goes to court over concerns about her son Elijah Blue Allman, saying his situation has become very concerning in many ways.
In new documents filed in Los Angeles, she asked for emergency control over her finances, pointing to her mental health problems, money problems and recent legal troubles.
Allman, 49, is said to be currently in a psychiatric hospital after being arrested twice in New Hampshire.
The file states that his condition has become serious, and it is stated that his mental health has worsened, his financial situation is in poor condition and his drug dependency has reached a very difficult point.
This isn’t the first time Cher has tried to intervene. However, he made a similar request in 2023, but things were resolved the following year when Allman agreed to have a business manager.
Now, Cher says that plan was never followed through.
The documents also claim he has been spending heavily, staying in hotels and short-term venues, while racking up large debts, including a tax bill of more than $200,000.
He also says he receives a monthly payment from the trust but has difficulty managing it.
Cher is now asking the court to appoint someone to look after her finances as the case progresses.
