Clarity Odds Rise to 43% on Polymarket After Unverified Reports Trump Agreed to Ethical Deal

Polymarketers dramatically increased the odds that the Clarity Act would become law this year after reports that President Trump allegedly agreed to the ethics provision that had stalled the bill.

The market price on whether the Crypto Market Structure Bill will become law in 2026 rose to about 43% in the prediction market on Monday, up from 32% on Friday. This was its lowest level since the market began trading in January.

The jump followed a series of reports that the latest sticking point in months of negotiations had been overcome.

Democrats have not seen the text of the bill, a source familiar with the matter told CoinDesk, and no text has been released. The White House and the offices of the senators involved had no comment.

Ethics has been the latest major hurdle for the Clarity Act, which would create the first comprehensive federal framework for digital assets and split oversight between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
