Cristiano Ronaldo has silenced his critics and skeptics with an exceptional performance during Portugal’s Group K match against Uzbekistan on Tuesday, June 23 in Houston.
The iconic striker came into the match under a lot of pressure, with critics calling for him to start on the bench or consider retiring after a disappointing performance in the 1-1 draw in the 2026 FIFA World Cup opener against Cape Verde.
