Emily Osment has many fond memories of her time. hanna montana alongside Miley Cyrus, where she met Cyrus’ real-life godmother, Dolly Parton.
talking to US Weekly In an interview published on December 6, Osment envisioned future guest stars for his show. Georgie and Mandy’s first marriage – and at the top of her wish list is Dolly Parton.
Osment, who plays lead character Mandy, told the outlet that she would love for the show to feature Mandy’s grandmother and thinks the Queen of Country would be the perfect choice.
“I would love to meet Mandy’s grandmother, whoever that is,” he shared. “I know Montana [Jordan, who plays Georgie] And I’ve talked about it quite a bit like, ‘Man, we really want to know who Audrey’s mom is.’ Because that is not achieved from nothing. We want to meet the woman who molded her to be this way.’”
Osment added that Parton would be a dream casting. “We always want Dolly Parton; that’s our number one goal,” he said. “I think it would be great, but it’s out of my reach.”
The idea also has a nostalgic touch. Long before playing Mandy, Osment worked with Parton at Disney. hanna montanawhere she played Lilly, Miley’s best friend, and Parton appeared as Aunt Dolly.
“I’ve worked with Dolly before. I don’t know if she remembers it,” Osment said. “It was a long time ago and she’s so fabulous. It was probably a problem on her trip, but [working with her again] “It would be my dream.”
