  • three more toy story 5 toys come

Mattel has already started what is called the ‘toy story 5 Roundup Reveal Week’ with a full line of toys, including a couple of very impressive and high-tech figures, but now the focus is on another brand. I think we’ve all been waiting to see how Lilypad, the upcoming movie’s potential new enemy, will come to life, and we’re seeing it for the first time.

TechRadar can exclusively reveal LeapFrog’s version of the character with Explore & Learn Lilypad, which turns the toy we glimpsed in the trailer into an educational toy for kids ages 3 and up. It’s all housed in a build that looks just like the tablet from the movie (well, based on the trailers we’ve seen so far) and features a custom operating system that’s packed with features. toy story items.

There are physical touch buttons for the alphabet, as well as other inputs, below a backlit LCD screen. You’ll have a form of messaging, where you can send emojis back and forth with Jessie, Woody or Buzz, and there are several other mini-games, such as one where Buzz needs to control a robot vacuum cleaner, as well as letter or number matching games.

You can also move Lilypad’s hands to see how the character’s eyes move and receive corresponding audio. It looks pretty well presented and I love the educational focus here; It really seems like a great fit for the LeapFrog brand. I suspect this will be the first of many Lilypad versions we’ll see.

LeapFrog’s Toy Story 5 Explore & Learn Lilypad will arrive on April 26, 2026 for $27.99 (around £21 / AU$39, although global pricing has yet to be announced). It will be available first at Walmart and will arrive shortly after at other retailers like Amazon and Target.

It is also joined by three other V-Tech products, including the Buzz Lightyear Learning Watch. It won’t rival an Apple Watch Series 11 or a Pixel Watch, but it will work like a classic watch with timer and stopwatch functions, and also features mini-games. Perhaps best is a built-in gaming laser similar to the one the Space Ranger sports on his arm.
