Former Prince Andrew makes desperate bid to soften King after new ban

King Charles cut off all direct communications with his disgraced brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, but that didn’t stop the former royal from reaching out.

The former Duke of York was recently under a security risk while walking his dog in Sandringham. A man allegedly attacked him, but before he could harm him, Andrew and his bodyguard sped away in the car.

Furthermore, while the move to remove Andrew from the line of succession is underway, the Corporation of the City of London stripped the monarch’s embarrassed brother of yet another honour.

According to sources cited by Rob Shuter, Andrew has been communicating with the King’s people, but not with Charles personally.

“There is no direct contact there anymore,” the source said, noting that Andrew is making a desperate promise to the king to soften his stance towards him.

He affirms that he would not leave the country to prove that the accusations against him – from the leak of confidential public office documents to the crimes exposed in Epstein’s files – are not true.

“Andrew continues to insist that he has nothing to hide and nowhere to run,” they noted. “But after years of scandals, almost no one is willing to trust his word.”

“Technically, there’s nothing stopping him from getting on a plane tomorrow,” the source explained. “And that’s exactly what the palace is worried about.”

Meanwhile, Charles doesn’t want to do anything with his embarrassed brother.

“This stopped being about family loyalty a long time ago,” another source added. “For Charles, it is now about protecting the Crown.”

Plus, no one in the royal household listens to Andrew’s complaints anymore.
