Princess Beatrice has been under a lot of stress lately, especially as there is an ongoing debate over the future of her royal accommodation.
The NAO audit report had revealed that the rent for the house of grace and favor of Beatriz and her sister Eugenia was paid by the monarch. Following the audit, insiders have suggested that an eviction notice could be on its way to the York sisters.
Meanwhile, Beatrice, mother of two young daughters, is also struggling in her married life with her husband Edoardo, and her friends are worried.
According to the Daily Mail’s Charlotte Griffiths, she revealed that Edoardo has been spending suspiciously a lot of time abroad when he should have been with his wife and young children, especially as the Epstein debacle threw them into chaos.
Sources cited in the report share that Beatrice is known to “drown her sorrows” in a drink with friends or in a pub. He often “collapses into a flood of tears if he has had too many.”
Furthermore, Beatrice’s husband “acts as if he were single”, as he was seen partying in St Tropez without his wife.
Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who runs a luxury real estate development company, has difficulty finding big clients because he knows that his lifestyle requires a lot of funds. And if their royal privileges were taken away, more would be needed.
“Things have caught up with him and I think a lot of people are distancing themselves from him,” another source revealed.
“Plus, work isn’t going well, so he probably goes abroad all the time. He’s looking for new clients. If this business goes bad, they might not have much money, especially if the royals prevent them. Their lifestyle is extremely expensive.”
