GoDaddy has launched its new ‘GoDaddy App’, promising to make managing your business on the go faster and easier.
In a press release shared with TechRadar Pro earlier this week, GoDaddy announced the launch of its branded mobile companion that promises to bring together all of GoDaddy’s tools under a unified identity.

What’s in the app?
The app promises to offer everything in the GoDaddy ecosystem, including features across GoDaddy’s domain, website builder, email, marketing, and e-commerce products.
“Today’s entrepreneurs need tools that work as hard and as flexibly as they do,” said Tristan Krause, senior director of product management at GoDaddy. “The GoDaddy app offers our customers a trusted place to create content, manage their online presence, engage with customers, and keep their businesses moving, all from their phone.”
GoDaddy suggests that the app will make the path from idea to launch completely seamless under a trusted brand, acting as a complete business companion, allowing entrepreneurs to create, grow and manage their business from a mobile device.
How much does it cost?
According to the GoDaddy website, you can use the GoDaddy app with a free plan. This gives you access to most of its features.
However, those who opt for a paid plan get access to Website + Content Creator Pro. This includes everything from the free plan plus premium templates, fonts and graphics, unlimited background removal, unlimited social caption generation, and access to adding shapes while editing.
The change to mobile
GoDaddy is not the first to celebrate, as other platforms like Wix already have an extensive app that can be used to seamlessly manage your website and business from a centralized location, including a complete booking system and marketing tools.
These launches mark a change in the way entrepreneurs like to do business. Although some may see this as the era of ‘mobile-only’ business, it actually highlights the desire to adopt a more hybrid approach to work, where users can seamlessly transition from working on their computer to working on their mobile device, helping to achieve a more balanced professional life.
