Heated rivalry Creator Jacob Tierney has given fans an update.
The 46-year-old star said season two is moving forward and will arrive “as soon as humanly possible” after the show became a huge hit.
Jacob shared the news during CBS Mornings with executive producer Brendan Brady.
He went on to say that the second season is already being written and filming is expected to begin in August 2026.
The series, however, is based on the Game Changers books by Rachel Reid and follows rival hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, played by Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.
Their love story became very popular among viewers after the first season.
An exact release date has not yet been confirmed, but reports suggest that the second season could arrive in spring 2027.
Fans hope the story continues and goes in a more serious direction this time.
Brady also joked about the long wait for new episodes and told fans to “enjoy the longing” while the team works on it.
Jacob Tierney also said that the new season may include additional stories that aren’t in the books, which could make the show even bigger than before.
