Sunday’s action at Allegiant Stadium begins with a successful match between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi. The former two-time NXT Champion memorably took down The Beast on Raw, after Lesnar eliminated him at the Royal Rumble.
The confrontation for the World Heavyweight Championship between CM Punk and Roman Reigns will close the curtain on the Showcase of the Immortals. The former WWE Universal Champion earned his title shot with the Royal Rumble victory, but he came across as a little desperate with his criticism of CM Punk, which amounted to disrespect for the brand. Nobody likes flattery.
The toughest task of the weekend, however, undoubtedly lies at the feet of Cody Rhodes, the current holder of the undisputed WWE Championship title. He’s putting his belt on the line against Randy Orton, so he can kick Pat McAfee out of wrestling forever.
