BK Westbrook is among the emerging talents of the independent scene.
The North Carolina native has appeared in several different promotions since late 2025, including Game Changer Wrestling, Pandemonium: Pro Wrestling, Deadlock Pro Wrestling, TBD Wrestling, among others. It’s not very often that professional wrestlers who roam the indies get the chance to show off their skills on television.

Westbrook appeared on AEW’s “Collision” in May against “Speedball” Mike Bailey. He fought under just his last name and lasted just over a minute with Bailey, who could be considered one of the top 10 professional wrestlers in the sport among any company. Westbrook recalled having the opportunity to showcase his work with AEW in a recent interview with Pak Gazette Digital.
“It was great. So I did extra work a couple of times. I got to be in the background, just someone who’s happy to be a part of the program,” he said. “But being on the show and being like wrestling is the first opportunity I’ve had. Having the opportunity to wrestle Mike Bailey, who is someone I have history with from being on various independent shows over the years before he got this amazing run in AEW and everything, and being around him and being around him as Deadlock Pro, for example.

“I know a good amount of people in AEW, so it was cool to be in that environment. I was really excited to be able to be on TV. It might not have been BK Westbrook, it might have just been ‘Westbrook,’ but the guy is still there. I was grateful for the opportunity. Absolutely. It was a good time.”
Westbrook will reappear at Pandemonium Pro’s “JoJo” event in August. The show will raise money for the family of the late Jordan Saint, who died in a car accident.
