Prince Harry’s recent meeting with his father has raised several questions, sparking speculation about his intentions after losing his legal battle in the United Kingdom, which cost him millions in legal fees.
A royal commentator, citing sources, has claimed that the Duke of Sussex’s latest move to repair relations with the British monarch may have less to do with family reconciliation than a looming financial headache.
The royals, who criticized the High Court ruling as a “whitewash”, are said to be on the hook for paying some $67 million in legal costs.
Rob Shuter, citing palace experts, revealed the closed-door revolt and said it was not anger.
“The problem was not that Harry criticized the ruling.”
“It seemed to question the integrity of the judicial system itself. Judges don’t usually respond well to that,” they added.
If the judge concludes that Harry acted unreasonably or unnecessarily prolonged the fight, the price could be staggering, according to legal experts.
