Jacob Elordi encountered unfortunate circumstances ahead of a career highlight, as he was on his way to be one of the jurors at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
The 28-year-old actor is reportedly suffering from a foot injury that has forced him to withdraw from the festival, which runs from May 12 to 23.

The news took Elordi’s fans by surprise and they sent him wishes and prayers on social media.
One fan wrote: “Quietly disappointing, would have brought some fresh energy to that panel,” while another added: “That jury just lost half their attention span overnight, foot injury or not, that’s a big mistake for Cannes.”
A third chimed in: “OMG it’s because they cut off his toe on euphoria….”, referring to the recently aired episode of season 3.
This comes after Elordi recently made headlines for his new relationship with Kendall Jenner.
The couple was spotted getting cozy at Coachella this year, igniting rumors, but it was later reported that they had already been dating for a few months.
