Jared Leto denies series of sexual misconduct allegations detailed in new bbc documentary.
According to the documentary, released on Friday, July 29, four women accused the Oscar-winning actor and musician of misconduct involving them when they were teenagers, accusations that Leto has firmly rejected.
In a statement to The Associated Press, Leto, 54, responded: “I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life. These claims are absolutely and categorically false.”

The women, whose identities were not fully revealed, accused the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman of various forms of sexual misconduct, including assault, statutory rape, sexually explicit phone calls and threatening behavior.
He bbc said it corroborated the women’s accounts, although The Associated Press reported it could not independently verify the allegations.
According to the bbcLeto did not respond to requests for comment before the documentary aired.
The documentary follows a separate report published by airmail last year, in which nine women also accused Leto of misconduct. A rep for the actor denied those allegations at the time.
