Kai Trump, President Donald Trump’s granddaughter who will play college golf for the Miami Hurricanes, spoke at the ESPYs on Wednesday about showing her life through her video blog.
Trump has given his followers and supporters of the president an inside look at what it’s like to be part of the first family as she navigates her own life.

“Honestly, I stay completely away from politics. It’s just not my thing,” she told Sportico. “I just like to show my life and show how you can still be an athlete and you can still do a lot of other things and enjoy a lot of other things.
“So, I just like showing people that anything is possible and I love showing the new generation my progress in college, eventually, but obviously how I got to where I am today.”

When asked what he thought about the intersection of politics and sports, Trump again said he tries to stay out of the political arena.
“Honestly, I stay out of politics. It’s not my thing,” he said. “But I think the UFC event was great and it was really cool to be there and especially have veterans in the stadium, that’s where you can combine the (United States) 250 point of view. But I thought it was great.”

Trump will make his college debut soon. She is one of two freshmen on the team, which also includes Bella Dovhey.
