Laura Hamilton revealed she couldn’t sleep after witnessing the horrific death of a teenager at sea.
He A place under the sun The presenter, 44, spoke about the dangers of swimming after witnessing the harrowing moment during a trip to the beach.
Addressing her followers, Laura explained that she had gone to a nearby beach but immediately felt something was very wrong when she arrived.
Recounting the ordeal, he said: “I slept about three hours last night and I think it’s because of what I saw on the beach yesterday afternoon.”
“My mind was racing and I was kind of reimagining the things I saw.”
He then went on to explain what happened when he arrived at the beach, saying: “When I arrived there was quite a commotion, I didn’t really know what was going on.
“Turns out there was a death and it was kind of crazy to see.” I thought the individual was older than them, in reality it turns out he was a 19-year-old boy, they tried to resuscitate him, but they couldn’t and unfortunately he died.’
He continued: “I can’t even begin to imagine what that poor boy’s family is thinking and feeling this morning.”
Laura, a mother of two, said she wanted to warn others about the dangers that can arise when swimming.
