Xbox is reportedly planning to roll out a new Game Pass tier that will be included with a Discord Nitro subscription.
Earlier this week, after the company announced a price cut for Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma teased a new partnership with Discord as part of an effort to “make Game Pass more flexible for our players.”
While the official announcement has yet to be made, new leaks have claimed that the partnership will introduce a new Game Pass tier called “Starter Edition,” which will be included with Discord Nitro.

That’s according to a datamine posted on ResetEra (via VGC), which alleges that “Xbox Game Pass (Starter Edition) is now included with Nitro.”
“Subscribe to Nitro and get access to Xbox Game Pass (Starter Edition), gear deals, new Orbs benefits, and more,” reads one of the data-mined text strings.
It is stated that “more than 50 games like Stardew Valley, consequences 4and Grounded,” will also be included in the package, as well as “10 hours of cloud gaming every month” for select titles and Xbox Rewards.
“All yours with Nitro,” the post says. “Up to $25/year in the Rewards Store.”
The way things have been moving recently, Xbox could officially announce the details of its partnership with Discord soon.
On the other hand, the company is also said to be working on a new Game Pass plan that would allow users to choose the content for their membership.
