Thick as thievesthe last game directed by the legendary ex god and Thief: Deadly Shadows Studio head Warren Spector is launching at an absolutely incredible price.
Developer OtherSide Entertainment has confirmed that the game will cost just $4.99/£4.99 when it arrives on PC on May 20, 2026. And yes, I promise it’s not a typo: in the age of $70 releases, you’ll get a new game for just five bucks here.
Set in the alternate history of the Scottish town of Kilcairn, it follows a gang of thieves who undertake daring heists on elaborate and highly guarded mansions, armed with a set of conventional tools like lockpicks and smoke grenades, plus some more unusual magical abilities. At launch, Thick as thieves It will feature two massive maps that have been designed with multiple playthroughs in mind, plus 16 missions to tackle and six pieces of equipment to play with.
The developers estimate that everything will take about four hours to complete, although I imagine it will be easy to extend that runtime by re-exploring the maps more, especially since they should change dynamically with each match.
The team also intends to expand the offering with future content, with development based on how players interact with this initial package.
