Austin Theory and Logan Paul have one of their biggest tests as World Tag Team Champions this weekend as they defend their titles against The Street Profits in Saturday night’s Main Event.
Theory and Paul are members of The Vision, the main “Monday Night Raw” faction that presents the future of WWE. Bron Breakker may be the leader of the pack in the ring, as he made a thunderous return to the roster at WrestleMania 42 and then defeated Seth Rollins at Backlash. Theory and Paul hold the gold, while Paul Heyman is the spokesperson for the next generation of superstars.
With the tag team title around his waist, Paul has now held gold twice in WWE since debuting with the company in 2021. Paul has the tools any professional wrestler dreams of: athletic prowess in the ring coupled with immense heat from the crowd along with his skills on the microphone.
Theory told Pak Gazette Digital that Paul’s rise in WWE has made it harder for any outsider to break in and succeed, suggesting the YouTube sensation has set the bar enormously high.

“I mean with Logan Paul, with his athletic ability and his wrestling skills and how he’s been able to develop them so quickly,” he said. “It’s impressive to me, someone who wanted to be in WWE since he was eight years old, started training at 18, signed with WWE at 22 and took that longer route. But I have to give Logan his respect. This is a guy, when he was a kid, he started with YouTube and streaming and pretty much created YouTube. He put it on the map, his whole streaming thing.
“It’s like we both built our dreams in different ways and we met in the middle. I think it just ruined it a little bit for everyone who is on the outside and wants to come to WWE and they think, ‘Oh wow, this is easy. I can pick up a mic and talk trash and I can do these cool moves off the ropes like Logan Paul,’ but you can’t. There’s an art to it. Logan Paul is exceptional on the mic. In the ring, he does things not even the big guys we have in WWE could do. He’s just a phenomenal athlete. When it comes to Logan Paul and I, we are outdoorsmen. That’s why I say we’re going to motivate everyone this Saturday at the Saturday Night Main Event in Fort Wayne.”
The Vision, which also includes an injured Bronson Reed, is under the tutelage of Heyman, who has been a “sage” and “advocate” for many young talents in WWE.

Theory had the utmost confidence that Heyman was sending him and his teammates in the right direction.

“With Paul Heyman, you know, this story with him having Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, you know, before he realized he was a loser,” he said. “Paul Heyman, man, he’s the ‘wise man’. I think everything that comes out of his mouth is gold and most of all, he shapes The Vision and sends us in the right direction. I couldn’t ask for more. He’s just under the tree of knowledge of history. It’s from the ’80s to today. The guy has done it all. I’m so grateful for the wise man Paul Heyman.”
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins will compete for the tag team titles. The two returned to “Monday Night Raw” after WrestleMania 42 after an extended absence.
The theory gave credit where credit is due. They are three-time WWE Tag Team Champions and won the tag titles in NXT and Evolve. However, Theory made it clear that Ford and Dawkins are running into “the best tag team champions in the world.”
“Well, the Street Profits. They’ve been in WWE for a long time,” he said. “It seems like a long time, like 60 years. I realize that every time I have a title, they are there, which makes sense because they are irrelevant and I am relevant. But I don’t want to put too much pressure on them, they are very athletic, they have a great resume. But it’s just that comparison with Austin Theory and Logan Paul – The Vision. The best tag team champions in the world, in the universe. You really can’t compare.

“Unfortunately, yeah, I said, unfortunately, the show is in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I look at this game as a big motivational moment for those people because they’re going to see two guys who don’t look like anyone from Fort Wayne. We look like goddamn superheroes. We’re really there to inspire everyone and then after the game, get the hell out of there.”
Saturday night’s main event will take place on Saturday in Fort Wayne, Indiana, much to Theory’s chagrin. And it’s a loaded card.
