Masters of the universe is now available in theaters around the world, and this new Amazon movie has a post-credits scene that will delight fans of the sci-fi and fantasy franchise.
The brief scene shows a highly anticipated live-action movie starring one of the most popular characters from Mattel’s property. And, if that wasn’t enough to get fans of the He-Man-led franchise talking, the film’s director, Travis Knight, “already has ideas” about what story he’d like to tell about said character.

So who is the guy being mocked in the post-credits scene of one of the new 2026 movies? That will be She-Ra, aka Adam/He-Man’s long-lost twin sister.
We do not see his face in said scene, nor is anyone credited with having played it. British actress Lauren Saliu has confirmed (via Instagram) that she played the Eternian princess, although it’s unclear if she’ll officially play She-Ra in the future or if she’s simply a stand-in for this clip.
Real name Adora, she possesses the same superhuman abilities as her brother. She-Ra also wields her own mystical sword called the Sword of Protection and has an animal companion, the horse Spirit, who, like He-Man’s Cringer/Battle-Cat, transforms into a battle-ready creature called Swift Wind when Adora becomes She-Ra.
However, unlike her Eternian peers, She-Ra never appeared in, much less starred in, a live-action film. Until now, he has only appeared in two animated series: the one from 1985. She-Ra: Princess of Power and, more recently, the incredibly well-received television anime. She-Ra and the princesses of powerwhich aired on Netflix for five seasons between 2018 and 2020.
His cameo in Masters of the universeThe end credits scene, then, is a historic moment because it implies that She-Ra could not only make her live-action debut in due time, but will also appear on the big screen for the first time.
However, whether it will depends on Masters of the universeThe film’s performance at the global box office. If it does well enough or even exceeds expectations, Amazon MGM Studios would be foolish not to greenlight a sequel starring He-Man and She-Ra, or even a standalone adventure directed by Adora.
Regardless of which of those options gets the nod, Knight has a vision for the kind of story he’d like to tell about She-Ra. However, he is also fully aware that, if Masters of the universe If she fails to make a splash, a movie directed by Adora may never be made; hence she was not part of the ensemble of this film and a famous actor was not officially chosen to play her in this brief appearance.
“With every movie I’ve done, I’ve always imagined where the characters step outside the boundaries of the movie,” Knight told me. “You want to tell a standalone story, and I think we’ve done that with this movie, but there are things within the broader mythology that don’t fit into that, and the character of She-Ra was one of them.
“Adora is also a character that carries a lot of weight in her,” Knight continued. “A lot of people, including me, love that character, so we wanted to give a little nod to where [a She-Ra movie] We could leave if we were given the opportunity to tell more stories.
“I would love to see it come to life on the big screen and I have ideas about what it would be like,” he added. “But, if we never had the opportunity to do that, we’ve told an independent story that works here.”
