Paramount+ has confirmed that Earth Mob Season 2 will return on September 18, 2026 in its first trailer, which you can watch below.
According to the studios, the 10-episode season will see “the Harrigans struggle to present a unified front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire.
“Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy), their cunning and formidable ‘fixer,’ must walk a dangerous tightrope as tensions within the family escalate. As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties are torn, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy.”
Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren will once again lead the cast, and they will be joined by Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones.
If anything, this could now confirm that Hardy’s role on the show is safe, following rumors that he would not be returning for season 3 following “career-suicidal behavior.”

Let’s recap what happened. On May 27, an article in The Hollywood Reporter stated that if Earth Mob If Season 3 were renewed, it would begin filming later this year, but star Tom Hardy’s behavior had “scared producers.”
The source alleged: “He refused to leave his trailer for hours at a time. He kept the cast waiting, [which is] a power play. Keeping Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren and others waiting is career suicide, I bet.”
However, another source told Variety: “Tom was not fired, the door is not closed on season 3 and things are being worked on creatively.”
Paramount+ has not made any official comment on the renewal of season 3, but if it happens, we can expect news towards the end of the season 2 release.
Meanwhile, fans have already called the trailer above “ruthless.” As one YouTube comment says: “The first season set the chess board. This trailer looks like someone just turned the chess board. Earth Mob “He’s back and he seems ruthless.”
