A new NYT Strands puzzle appears at midnight every day for your time zone, which means some people are always playing “today’s game” while others play “yesterday’s.” If you are instead looking for the Thursday puzzle then click here: NYT Strands Tips and Answers for Thursday, June 11 (Game #830).

I love the song something to talk about by Badly Drawn Boy, so I was humming this to myself while playing today’s Strands. I bet I wasn’t the only one.
Meanwhile, I had a lot of difficulties with today’s match. The first two words I saw, BODY and POINT, came up when I was looking for non-game words and neither helped me move forward as I couldn’t see the connection between them.
It took two clues, HOOK and TOPIC, before I finally understood that the topic was about talking. I’m so used to Strands’ themes being obtuse that I often miss them when they’re obvious.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Thursday, June 11, Game #830)
- BLUES
- FUSE
- CHOOSE
- BEERS
- SCHMOOZE
- SHOES
- CRUISE
