NYT Strands Today (Game #817): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game #817 are…
- PIGS
- CATTLE
- HORSES
- SHEEP
- DUCKS
- CHICKENS
- GOATS
- SPANGRAM: FARM ANIMALS
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
Although I was initially confused by the topic, saying EIEIO out loud immediately reminded me Old MacDonald had a farm – along with some of the things he kept in it.
All the S’s made this game a cinch, although I was hoping to find a dog or cat along with the standard FARMANIMALS.
When my daughters were little, we regularly went to play on the farms, and I still have the scar from a particularly violent tractor ride in which I accidentally hit my head on a metal bar. My response was a little ruder than EIEI-Ouch.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Thursday, May 28, Game #816)
- JASMINE
- PEAR
- SANDALWOOD
- BERAMOT
- NEROLI
- SPANGRAM: FRAGRANCE
