NYT Strands Today (Game #804): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game #804 are…
- MOUSSE
- HORN
- ECLAIR
- MACARON
- MERINGUE
- SPANGRAM: FRENCH BAKERY
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
Seeing the word “French” in the top row was impossible to ignore, making FRENCHBAKERY one of the easiest spangrams I can remember.
From now on, it was simply a matter of how much pastry you know; As someone who is a fan of TV cooking shows and eating as many cakes and pastries as possible, I found it all quite easy. That being said, I’m sure everyone saw MOUSSE immediately as well.
In fact, the biggest challenge of the day was spelling CROISSANT. Actually, scratch that, the biggest challenge of the day is not getting up from my desk to go out and buy a CROISSANT.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Friday, May 15, Game #803)

- FERRET
- MARTEN
- POLECAT
- GLUTTON
- SPANGRAM: MUSTELIDS
