- CHAMELEON
- CROCODILE
- SPANGRAM: COLD BLOOD
- My rating: Hard
- My score: Perfect
I’m not sure how I knew herpetology was related to amphibians and reptiles, but somehow it popped into my head.
Most likely it had something to do with my recent David Attenborough documentary binge, but either way it was a huge help in figuring out today’s game. The fact that I saw BULLFROG almost instantly also helped.
Despite my confidence on the subject, this game was still challenging, as were the beasts themselves; Each word was well camouflaged and we had a spangram that zigzagged throughout the area.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Saturday, June 6, game #825)
- MARRIAGE
- NUPTIALS
- MARRIAGE
- VOTES
- MARRIAGE
- SPANGRAM: TYING THE KNOT
