Inde Navarrette has revealed that she is open to the possibility of starring in a Marvel film, and now rumors are circulating online that she could appear in the comic giant’s new X-Men movie.
The Breakout Star of 2026 ObsessionNylon magazine recently asked Navarrette if she would like to appear in a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film. “I would,” was the brief response from the sought-after and award-winning actor.
Interestingly, Navarrette’s possible involvement in the Marvel movie juggernaut could soon become a reality. In fact, as part of the same interview, Navarrette confirmed that he had recently met with Jake Schreier, the director of the Marvel Phase 5 movie. Good heavens.
Currently, the only project Schreier has publicly acknowledged he is working on is the aforementioned X-Men movie. It will not be surprising to know, then, that a rumor about the possible casting of Navarrette in said reboot of the film franchise is already spreading like wildfire on the web.
Why some movie fans don’t want Navarrette to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe
It would be remiss of me not to point out that Navarrette’s addition to the MCU is simply speculation at this point. There will surely be other projects that Schreier is secretly developing, such as a third season of the award-winning and critically acclaimed but little-seen Netflix comedy-drama. Beef. So the filmmaker could have approached Navarrette for a role on that show instead of a role in his untitled X-Men movie.
However, some fans of Navarrette’s works, which include this year’s box office beauty at Focus Features obsessionare dead set against seeing the 25-year-old become the next big-name actor or rising star to sell his soul to the MCU.
