‘seeks to improve interoperability with partner air forces and validate operational readiness’

A contingent of Pakistan Air Force, comprising F-16 Block-52 fighter jets, along with dedicated air and ground crew, arrived at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Saudi Arabia to participate in the multinational air combat exercise ‘Spears of Victory-2026’.
The exercise sees the participation of fighter jets and combat support elements from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, France, Italy, Greece, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, the United Kingdom and the United States, according to a press release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) here.
“He said the exercise provides a strong platform to enhance interoperability, operational synergy, mutual understanding and capability development among participating air forces, particularly in the employment of large forces, composite night air operations, integrated ISR and operations in advanced electronic warfare environments.
“Through participation in this multinational forum, the Pakistan Air Force seeks to enhance interoperability with partner air forces and validate their operational readiness in a contested, technology-driven battlespace,” the press release states.
“For this international deployment, PAF fighter jets undertook a non-stop flight from their base in Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, demonstrating the long-range operational reach and expeditionary capabilities of the Pakistan Air Force.”
During the exercise, PAF pilots flying advanced F-16 Block-52 aircraft equipped with modern avionics and Beyond Visual Range (BVR) capabilities will face off against participating air force crews operating a wide range of sophisticated fighter aircraft.
The participation of Pakistan Air Force contingent in ‘Spears of Victory-2026’ not only reflects the PAF’s strong commitment towards regional and international military cooperation but also underlines its professional excellence.
