Both countries agree to improve cooperation in capacity development between their judicial systems

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said that Pakistan and Azerbaijan are brotherly countries and their bilateral ties are strengthening with each passing day during a meeting with Azerbaijan’s Justice Minister Farid Turab Oglu Ahmadov.
Prime Minister Shehbaz welcomed the visiting minister and said that relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan are getting stronger day by day. He also conveyed his greetings to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and fondly recalled their telephone conversation earlier this week.
The Azerbaijani Minister thanked Pakistan for the warmth and hospitality extended to him. He briefed Prime Minister Shehbaz about the ongoing collaboration between the two countries in the field of legal and judicial cooperation.

As part of their existing mechanisms, the two sides are actively working together to improve mutual legal assistance mechanisms, as well as to ensure capacity development of the judicial systems of the two countries.
The prime minister appreciated the efforts of the two sides and said he looked forward to meeting President Ilham Aliyev soon to continue the excellent bilateral cooperation between the two sides in all spheres.
