Paris Jackson opened up about how her bond with her late father Michael Jackson has changed over the years, especially now that her life is back in the spotlight following the 2026 Michael biopic.
In a podcast conversation with Jack Osbourne on Trying not to dieParis opened up about what it’s like growing up as the daughter of a global superstar.
The 28-year-old model and actress said that in the past she felt pressured to share details of her life, but now she has realized that she doesn’t owe the public every part of her story.
She went on to explain that she now feels more comfortable keeping her relationship with her father private.
Paris added that it is something very personal to her and that it does not need explanation or public approval.
He continued to reflect on the effects he still faces after losing his father at a young age, as he was only 11 years old when Michael Jackson passed away in 2009.
The star said she is still learning to deal with the public’s curiosity about her relationship.
Speaking about the biopic, Paris Jackson added that she feels that many parts of the film are not accurate and do not reflect the truth as she knows it.
He said he gave his opinion, but then walked away from it.
His brother Prince Jackson was involved in the project and shared that watching his cousin play Michael on screen was emotional and very surreal for the family.
