Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are officially married!
He daily mail reported that the Little Mix star and the footballer exchanged vows on Saturday, June 13 during an intimate ceremony in Portugal. The couple, who have been together for eight years, said “I do” at Quinta do Lago, attended by around 70 close friends and family.
According to photographs obtained by the outlet, Edwards, 32, arrived at a small Catholic church around 3 p.m., wearing a long-sleeved lace dress with a corset-style bodice. She left the place carrying a bouquet of white calla lilies, held by her new husband.
Following the service, guests gathered at the nearby Parrilla Natural restaurant for a reception overlooking one of the Algarve’s most picturesque locations.
The wedding marks a new chapter for the couple, who began dating in 2017 and got engaged in 2022. They already share two children: son Axel and daughter Alanis Valentín, who was born just five months ago.
Before the ceremony, the newlyweds also hosted a lavish pre-wedding celebration.
Despite previous reports, Perrie’s former Little Mix bandmate Jade Thirlwall was not present when she performed at the Primavera Sound festival in Porto. It is unclear whether bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock was present. As expected, Little Mix’s fourth member, Jesy Nelson, was not present at the nuptials due to her fallout with Edwards.
Edwards recently spoke about the consequences of friendship during an appearance on The great company podcast earlier this week, where she also opened up about how Oxlade-Chamberlain helped her recover from her past “toxic” relationship with former One Direction member Zayn Malik.
