PML-N reviews Nawaz, Maryam’s visit plans ahead of election rallies in AJK


PML-N reviews electoral strategy, orders door-to-door campaign and mobilization of supporters throughout the region

MUZAFFARABAD:

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leadership held a key consultative meeting with party leaders on Friday to review arrangements for the upcoming visit of party president Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to the region and arrangements for election rallies.

The participants decided that Nawaz would address two important election rallies in Muzaffarabad and Mirpur during his visit to AJK. CM Maryam is also expected to accompany him in both public meetings.

The meeting reviewed the party’s election campaign, organizational coordination, demonstration arrangements and overall election strategy. The leadership directed party workers to further intensify the campaign by launching a wide-ranging door-to-door outreach campaign and mobilizing its supporters across the region.

Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam said that the PML-N would carry out a vigorous election campaign in AJK, adding that resolving public issues and ensuring development and prosperity of the region remained the party’s top priorities.

He said the PML-N government had completed several major development projects in AJK and noted that the prime minister had announced establishment of daanish schools in the territory without any formal demand from the AJK government.

Muqam highlighted the need for timely, free and transparent elections, describing them as the most effective means of addressing public problems. He said the PML-N leadership had a long-standing commitment to the people of Kashmir and had always supported them in difficult times.

Concluding the meeting, participants expressed confidence that the party would achieve victory in the AJK general elections on July 27, 2026 based on its public service record, development agenda and governance performance.
