Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have been secretly taking steps to repair their relationship, it seems, as the couple was spotted in Athens, Greece.
A friend of the couple, Greek art curator Aliki Lampropoulos, shared a snap with Bea and Edo on her social media page, suggesting the couple were on holiday.
King Charles’ niece and her husband have been under immense scrutiny over their marriage, as some friends have expressed concern about them. Rumors of martial tension were further fueled when Edo uncharacteristically skipped his sixth wedding anniversary tribute.
While speculation has been rampant, the couple seemed all smiles and good humor in the newly released photo. While the posting of Aliki’s photo is recent, it is unclear when the photo was taken.
The photo also had an orange heart and a bee sticker, likely a reference to Beatrice’s nickname which is pronounced “bee.”
Beatrice and Edo have not been seen together on public outings recently. The last they were seen was with friends and when Princess Eugenie had announced her third pregnancy.
Fans noticed that she seemed distraught amid her parents Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s scandals, while Eugenie was even calmer.
One report said Edo’s absence from the wedding tribute could indicate “another nail being hammered into his marital coffin”, but the departure could suggest otherwise.
