Ave Maria Projectstarring Ryan Gosling and based on the best-selling science fiction book of the same name by Andy Weir, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Australia.
It’s shaping up to be one of the best movies of 2026 so far, and TechRadar senior entertainment reporter Tom Power gave the film a shining 4.5 stars. And you’re not alone: Project Hail Mary currently has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 94%, and audiences rate it a higher score of 95%. It is also already the second most viewed program on the platform currently.
So I’m glad to hear it’s coming to Amazon’s streaming platform at the perfect time, with the retailer’s biggest sales event, Prime Day, kicking off next week.
to transmit Ave Maria Project At Prime Video, you’ll need a Prime membership, which will also give you access to all the tempting deals during next week’s sales, and if you haven’t had an account before, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial.
having seen Ave Maria Project For my part, I completely agree with my colleague Tom’s praise and the Rotten Tomatoes scores: Ave Maria Project has become my favorite feel-good movie of the year and, to quote my colleague Tom’s review, it is nothing short of “surprise, surprise, surprise” in how much it moved me. If you haven’t seen this movie yet, I can confidently say that you are in for an absolute treat. And if you’ve seen it before, I’m sure you’ll want to see it again.
The film follows Gosling as a high school teacher who wakes up aboard a spaceship light years from Earth, with no memory of who he was or how he got there. He later discovers that he has been tasked with saving humanity by discovering more about a mysterious substance that is causing our Sun to slowly die. He’s joined by an adorable alien named Rocky in this edge-of-your-seat adventure, while tugging at your heartstrings and tickling your funny bone in the process.
Once you’re done watching Ave Maria ProjectThere are also many more options to choose from. New additions like shethe prequel to Legally Blonde, Clarkson Farm season 5 and season 2 of the Australian comedy Deadloch These are some great ones to check out. Some old movies I can recommend on Prime Video are classic comedies. Very badly, hot fluff and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.
