The British royal family is in the headlines ahead of Prince Harry’s visit to the UK to promote his Invictus Games and the senior royals’ reaction to the Duke’s explosive move.
Queen Camilla reportedly supports King Charles’s hopes of repairing his fractured relationship with Prince Harry, but has no intention of getting personally involved.
The claim was made by several real experts who spoke with Fox News Digital, One of them says that Camilla wants the king, who continues to receive cancer treatment, to have the opportunity to spend time with his young grandchildren, but she remains cautious.
They went on to admit the reality that trust within the House of Windsor has yet to be fully restored.
“Personally, I feel that Camilla has been supporting Charles in his ambition to reunite with Harry. [but] “Camilla regularly protects Charles’ interests,” royal broadcaster Ian Pelham Turner told the outlet.
Another expert, Richard Fitzwilliams, said: “Camilla believes in duty. She cares about the king and knows the break-up has caused him concern.”
Harry is expected to travel to the UK on July 7 for events marking the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, a milestone closely linked to his signature charity initiative.
On the other hand, British royal expert Hilary Fordwich said: “Although Camilla has been a force for stability and is unlikely to block Charles if he really wants to reunite with Harry, she will keep her distance.”
“She prefers to avoid complicating things. She and the king are in close collaboration, preferring calm to any confrontation. If the king meets with Harry, given the high level of trust issues, it is likely to be just them and not any extended family.”
Her remarks came after a Daily report previously claimed that Camilla will “stay very far away” from the couple during the visit and “will not be present when they arrive.”
Royal expert Katie Nicholl, vanity fairHe said Camilla is known for spending time with her own children and grandchildren.
“The queen is a very family-oriented woman, and there are many weekends when she doesn’t spend the weekend at Highgrove with the king,” Nicholl explained. “She returns to Ray Mill, her family home, and spends time with her children and grandchildren.”
“Camilla has taken over as queen and is doing a very good job as a loyal consort,” the expert continued.
Nicholl said. “So if Camilla has been quietly behind the scenes trying to help negotiate peace between [father and son]”So I think she skyrockets in everyone’s estimation, actually, given what Harry has said about her.”
British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard said Camilla would support a private meeting between Charles and Harry.
“Queen Camilla has more than proven herself to be a valuable and hard-working royal,” Chard said.
“She stepped up to the plate, doing the best she could for king and country. Despite not trusting the Sussexes, she is convinced she wants the best for her husband. However, she doesn’t suffer fools. [Still]will support a meeting between father and son away from prying eyes.”
“Camilla won’t be anywhere,” Chard said.
“He is most likely at his beloved home in Ray Mill in Wiltshire.”
Fitzwilliams intervened in the situation and said: “The king clearly wants to see his grandchildren,” he said. “[But] The royal family’s distrust of the Sussexes remains acute. “There are no circumstances under which Prince William appears willing to see his brother.”
“There is also sensitivity about the cost of taxpayer-funded security, which the Sussexes lost when they stepped down as senior royals.
Harry “attacked Camilla in his memoirs, and it was this that allegedly led to the Sussexes being evicted from Frogmore Cottage, their UK home.”
The expert continued: “I doubt Camilla will be willing to be lenient. [But]”If the king and the Sussexes meet, it could mark the beginning of reconciliation rather than an immediate reset.”
