Jacob Fatu put an exclamation point on his desire to win the World Heavyweight Championship even as he was trapped in a loss to Roman Reigns at Backlash on Saturday night.
Fatu had that crazed look in his eyes after Reigns got the win. Fatu was shocked and infuriated when Reigns raised his hand in victory to retain his title. But Fatu made it clear that his quest for gold and glory would not stop at the premium live event.

The “Samoan Werewolf” took out his frustrations on Reigns, Raw general manager Adam Pearce and some of the producers who came out to stop his post-match attack. The attack included Fatu chasing the referee, putting the Tongan hold on Reigns and kicking anyone who got in his way.
Reigns had the last word as he walked up the entrance ramp after the brutal assault.
“This is why we should have never left Jacob in this company,” Reigns told Cathy Kelley as she walked to the back. “You don’t belong here, Jacob. There is no order with you. This is your last night here.”

Reigns and Fatu battled throughout the night and much of “Tribal Chief’s” damage was seemingly ineffective throughout the match. But a key mistake ultimately cost Fatu his life.
Fatu had Reigns in death control of Tonga towards the end of the match. Reigns held on to the referee and exposed a turnbuckle in the process. Reigns was able to push Fatu into the exposed turnbuckle and hit a spear.
Reigns pinned Fatu for the win, but that sparked the chaotic scene.

Fatu was last seen holding the World Heavyweight Championship over Reigns, who was lying on the mat. The first battle may be over between the two, but the war is far from over.
