KARACHI: The Sindh government will release Matric results by July 10 and intermediate results by July 31, Education Department spokesperson said on Thursday.
The decision was taken during a meeting of all education boards chaired by Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards in Sindh, Ismail Rahoo.
According to the spokesperson, the meeting reviewed the annual matric and intermediate examinations being conducted across Sindh.
All education boards informed the meeting about the examinations conducted in their respective divisions.
Rahoo directed that Matric results be released in all divisions of Sindh by July 10, while all boards should release intermediate results by July 31.
During the briefing, officials said that the education boards would release the results of Classes 9 and 11 by August 31.
“The results should be released on time so that students can receive timely facilitation in admission,” the minister said.
He said all possible support will be provided to improve transparency, merit and examination system in education boards.
The meeting was also informed that cases were registered against several persons for violating Article 144 during the examinations in Karachi.
The annual exams took place in April and will conclude in mid-June.
The exams have been mired in controversy amid widespread accusations of bribery, document leaks and serious administrative errors.
