- TCL adds three more models to its 2026 lineup
- This includes the TCL P8L, another QD mini-LED model
- Two more QLEDs have been unveiled, including a Fire TV model
TCL has announced three new models it will add to its 2026 TV lineup, including another mini-LED.
The three new models include the TCL P8L, a new QD mini-LED similar to last year’s C series; the TCL P7L, a new QLED model and finally the V6D, another QLED that uses Fire TV as a smart TV platform instead of Google TV like most other TCL models do.
TCL has also released pricing for each of these TVs, which you can find, along with the full announced specs, below.

These three models join the previously announced 2026 TVs, which include the flagship X11L Super Quantum Dot (SQD) mini-LED, the RM9L and RM8L RGB mini-LEDs, and the C8L and C7L. The C8 and C7 will also feature SQD mini-LEDs for the first time, an improved panel over their predecessors, the TCL C8K and C7K, two of the best TVs of 2025.
TCL also confirmed that the TCL C6K, easily one of the best budget mini-LED TVs I tested last year, will move to 2026.
TCL P8L
The TCL P8L will be available in 55, 65, 75, and 85-inch sizes. The prices of each of these models are as follows:
- 55 inches – £649.00
- 65 inches – £849.00
- 75 inches – £1,049.00
- 85 inches – £1,399.00
The TCL P8L is another QD mini-LED TV, similar to the C series that we have rated highly in recent years. It will feature an HVA panel for the C8L’s WHVA 2.0 Ultra SQD mini-LED panel and the C7L’s HVA 2.0 Pro SQD mini-LED panel, and will come with TCL’s AiPQ processor built-in and support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR formats. A Filmmaker mode, which was introduced last year, will also be included.
You’ll also have a gaming feature configured with the best gaming TVs, including 4K 144Hz (with a 288Hz boost mode), FreeSync Premium, ALLM, and an upgraded TCL Game Bar.
The P8L will use Google TV as a smart TV platform and will be compatible with Google Assistant, Google Cast, Miracast and Airplay 2.
TCL P7L

The TCL P7L is a QLED TV and will be available in 43, 50, 55, 65, 75 and 85-inch sizes. The prices of these models are as follows:
- 43 inches – £399.00
- 50 inches – £449.00
- 55 inches – £499.00
- 65 inches – £699.00
- 75 inches – £899.00
- 85 inches – £1,299.00
The P7L comes equipped with a QLED panel that TCL claims will offer 93% coverage of the DCI-P3 HDR color space (a decent result for a mid-range QLED if proven true). It will also use the AiPQ processor with AI features such as AI Game Agent and AI Cinematic Agent. The TCL P7L will support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR formats.
While gaming features haven’t been fully confirmed, there’s only one HDMI 2.1 eARC port listed, so this TV will likely be limited to 4K 60Hz for gaming.
For audio, the 43- to 75-inch models of the P7L will use a 2.0 Onkyo speaker system. The 85-inch will use an Onkyo 2.1 speaker system.
The P7L will also use Google TV as a smart TV platform and will be compatible with Google Assistant, MiraCast, Google Cast and Airplay 2.
TCL V6D

The TCL V6D is a QLED TV that will be available in 43, 50, 55, 65 and 75-inch sizes. The prices of this model are as follows:
- 43 inches – £379.00
- 50 inches – £399.00
- 55 inches – £449.00
- 65 inches – £599.00
- 75 inches – £699.00
The TCL V6D is the most basic model in this line, but it will still come with a QLED panel. While it doesn’t support Dolby Vision, it will support both HDR10+ and HDR10. There’s also support for VRR and ALLM, and while no refresh rate has been provided, we’d again assume it will land at 4K 60Hz. There is also support for Dolby Atmos.
The big difference between the V6D and the rest of the line is that it will use Fire TV as a smart TV platform. It will come with voice remote control and will be compatible with Alexa.
Even more economical mini-LEDs

TCL’s mini-LED TVs were some of the best I tested last year, and the mid-range C7K in particular struck the right balance between performance and price.
Last year, the P8K (the predecessor of the new P8L) was a QLED TV, but this year, the P8L will receive mini-LED. It is encouraging to see that mini-LED is being introduced at lower levels of the range.
Interestingly, while the P8L shares many specifications with the ‘advanced’ C7K and C8K, its launch prices are no different to the entry-level TCL C6K. The 65-inch P8L will launch for £849, while the 65-inch C6K will launch for £799.
The P8L’s price is unlikely to stay this high for long, as we’ve often seen a massive price drop several weeks after launch with TCL’s mini-LEDs in previous years.
If the P8L can offer similar image quality and performance to the C-series models, but potentially reach a lower price quickly, it could be another affordable mini-LED gem in TCL’s catalog.
