Electric toothbrushes are popular purchases every year in Amazon Prime Day deals, to the point that the website is absolutely flooded with the stuff. Not only do you have plenty of old guard models from Oral-B, Philips, Colgate and more, but you also have new upstarts like Suri, Ordo and Supermouth to explore, as well as the usual slew of nameless dupes from Amazon.

Meanwhile, they all include different features, whether it’s pressure sensors, multiple modes, AI brushing guidance or reward points. It’s getting harder and harder to choose between them because of all the noise!
That’s where I come in. I’ve reviewed many electric toothbrushes during my time as TechRadar’s resident health technology editor. I’ve curated our buying guide for the best electric toothbrushes and selected a trio of products that a) are discounted during Prime Day and I think will be a good value. For comparison purposes, I’ve grouped them into three categories: under $50, under $100, and under $200. Let’s get started!
Under $50: Ordo Sonic Lite
I liked this electric toothbrush when I reviewed it in 2024, calling it “simple and lightweight, but a great value.” So, even though it’s a small discount (the Ordo Sonic Lite was $38.47, but is now $34.99 on Amazon), the brush is such a good value normally that I still feel comfortable recommending it.
The USB-C charging port is convenient, the battery life and brushing power impress, and it comes in a good variety of colors. The sonic phone (which in this case simply means “vibration”) has two modes (soft and strong), a two-minute timer, and a pulse every 30 seconds to remind you to change “zones.” That’s all most people need from an electric toothbrush.
Under $100: Suri 2.0 Sustainable Toothbrush
The Suri range of electric toothbrushes are designed with quality and sustainability in mind. The recyclable heads are made from bamboo, while the aluminum handle can be disassembled, allowing the device to be repaired to reduce electronic waste.
It’s a very good toothbrush, too, with a powerful motor, a month-long battery life, a head cover for travel, an optional case with a UV light to kill bacteria, and a pressure sensor to stop you from putting too much pressure on your teeth. Our reviewer gave it 4.5 stars and said it’s “clean on all fronts.” It even comes with a sticky magnet, allowing you to easily mount it on your bathroom wall.

Under $200: Philips Soniclean Diamondcare 9000
A powerful, premium electric toothbrush, the Philips Sonicare Diamondclean 9000 is packed with features most of us wouldn’t even imagine, with 12 brush settings, a powerful motor delivering 62,000 bristle movements per minute, smart teeth cleaning, advice via the Sonicare app, a USB charging travel case and much more.
In our review, we said it was a “powerful and attractive electric toothbrush with a wide range of modes and intensity settings so you can adapt it to your needs.” While we didn’t think it was smart enough for the asking price, you can now get the Philips Sonicare Diamondclean 9000 two-pack for 50% off, discounted from $399.99 to just $199.99 for two brushes, charging cases, and stands. At this price, I would recommend it if it is within your budget.
