- brand new GTA 6 Images have been published
- Images show Vice City at sunset and fans think it looks ‘glorious’
- One fan says it “almost looks like real footage.”
Rockstar Games has released a new image of Vice City in grand theft car 6.
In case you weren’t around when the internet blew up yesterday, the studio finally announced that GTA 6 Pre-orders will officially begin on June 25, although we don’t have a price yet.
The news came alongside the official cover reveal trailer and an updated website with new artwork from GTA 6 protagonists Lucia and Jason, as well as a dynamic image on the home page showing Vice City at dusk.
It looks quite impressive and the sprawling city looks very detailed, with helicopters flying overhead and boats cruising along the waterfront.
While the footage literally lasts a few seconds, it offers a preview of what players will be able to freely explore when the game arrives later this year, and fans are eating up every crumb.
“IT LOOKS GLORIOUS!!” said one fan on Reddit. “This is the most realistic and beautiful night shot of VC we’ve gotten so far. I swear it didn’t look this good in previous media.”
“Holy shit, this almost looks like real footage,” said another.

Meanwhile, some fans suggest the footage doesn’t look “polished”, with one user pointing out the reflection of the Ferris wheel missing in the background.
“Damn, OP JUST DELAYED THE GAME,” one fan joked in response, while another said, “Yeah, the game is unplayable.”
“It just shows the limitations that still exist in this generation,” one fan suggested, “maybe the next-gen version can have reflections in the distance too.”
Others are concerned about game performance on next-gen consoles, considering graphical fidelity.
“It looks like ray traced water is being cut from a distance. The pop will be unpleasant,” said one user.
Following the pre-order announcements and cover reveal, Rockstar also updated its social media icon and banner to match the game’s theme. It’s now pink and purple, instead of the classic yellow that fans are familiar with.
GTA 6 will officially launch on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Series S. A PC release has yet to be announced.
