Social media platform TikTok removed a total of 28,198,284 videos in Pakistan during the third quarter (July-September) of the current fiscal year 2025-26 for violations of its Community Guidelines.
According to TikTok, the proactive content removal rate in Pakistan reached a record 99.8 percent, while 95.9 percent of videos were removed within 24 hours of being uploaded.
In this regard, TikTok has published its Community Guidelines Compliance Report for the third quarter (July-September) of fiscal year 2025-26, reflecting the platform’s commitment to providing users with a safe digital environment.
The report, based on data from July to September, details the proactive measures taken by TikTok to identify and remove content that violates its Community Standards, ensuring a positive experience for its global community.
During the third quarter of 2025, TikTok removed a total of 28,198,284 videos in Pakistan. The proactive removal rate was 99.8 percent, and 95.9 percent of videos were removed within 24 hours of being posted.
TikTok said that as technology increasingly takes over much of this work, its trust and safety teams can focus more on areas that require human judgment, such as reviewing appeals, consulting outside experts, and responding effectively to rapidly evolving situations.
Globally, during the same quarter, TikTok removed a total of 204,534,932 videos worldwide, representing approximately 0.7 percent of all content uploaded to the platform.
Of the removed videos, 186,608,081 were removed using automated detection technologies.
