We have a release date, with Jessie (Joan Cusack), Buzz (Tim Allen) and Woody (Tom Hanks) hitting theaters around the world on June 19. But what about the new movie coming to one of the best streaming services, Disney+?

As I said, the theatrical release date of toy story 5 It’s June 16, so it’ll be a while before it releases on Disney+.
When could that be? I have no inside information, but my best guess is that it will drop in early October.
But why then? Disney typically releases its first-party movies on its primary streamer about three months after they are released in theaters.
Some have come to the service earlier or later than anticipated, but that’s usually a result of their poor performance at the global box office (which could lead to an earlier streaming release), or if they’re still making money through ticket sales (so they stay in theaters longer).
It is very likely that because toy story 5 perform well in theaters, so a longer theatrical release window seems likely, so I’m going with four months and therefore early to mid-October.
