Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley have separated after less than three years of marriage, and sources reveal that communication difficulties and Antonoff’s particular way of doing things created tension between the couple.
A source said Page six that Antonoff “could be very particular about how he liked things” and that Qualley often felt that his perspective was not given equal weight.
“He often preferred things to be done the way he thought was best, and Margaret didn’t always feel like her perspective was heard or given equal weight,” the source said.
“Communication was definitely a challenge between him and Margaret.”

The first public indication that something was wrong came when Antonoff attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding on July 3 without Qualley, accompanied by his sister Rachel at both the July 2 rehearsal dinner and the ceremony the following day.
Rumors circulated that Qualley was too busy filming to attend, but a source said TMZ on Wednesday that production had already finished Snake King in June and was not supposed to start his next project, Possessionuntil much later.
In retrospect, there had been signs for months.
In April, Qualley changed her Instagram account from @isimostar, a reference to her husband’s song Isimo, to @sarahmargaretqualley23.
Fans also noticed that Bleachers had quietly removed the song Margaret, written about the actress, from its set list; The track’s last performance was on June 13, according to Songlist.fm.
On Wednesday morning, Qualley deleted her wedding photos and removed all traces of Antonoff from her Instagram, leaving only a picture of the two laughing together from last February.
