WWE star Sami Zayn was furious after CM Punk made a dramatic return to “Monday Night Raw” in Chicago and defeated him for the undisputed championship.
Zayn was supposed to have a match with Cody Rhodes before Gunther brought out “American Nightmare” when the show started. Zayn thought he was going to have a bad night before being told there was a replacement for Rhodes. Punk made his entrance before a raucous crowd and defeated Zayn in the main event.

As Zayn walked to the backstage area, he cut an emotional promo.
“I have a question,” Zayn began. “How is it that after 24 years, after crawling and trying every inch to get the WWE championship, after I finally got it, nine days after I got it, that piece of s— can come back here after not being here for months, for months, and come in and get it? Have a chance? That mother… er. She has nothing to do. She has nothing to do.”

Zayn burst into tears when he realized his short title run was over.
Rhodes booked himself a triple threat match at Night of Champions to prove he was better than Zayn and Gunther. He misjudged Zayn’s fighting aptitude and came away clean at the premium live event.
Rhodes rose back up to the number one contender spot last week on “Friday Night SmackDown” when he defeated Jey Uso. But he didn’t get a chance to re-enter the match due to Gunther’s beating.
