Hilary Duff reacts to criticism over tour wardrobe

Hilary Duff responded to criticism about her tour wardrobe in the most low-key way possible, liking the post of a fan who clapped on her behalf.

The singer is currently halfway through her journey. Spin with luck across the United States, which began on June 22 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

When a critic posted that Duff “obviously didn’t spend any money on her wardrobe” and accused her of wearing sweatpants on stage, a concertgoer chimed in with receipts.

“She’s actually a badass who did 5 quick outfit changes during her performance,” the fan wrote, sharing clips of Duff moving around in a slip dress over jeans, a fringed crop top, a satin white dress, and a sequin tank top.

Duff, 38, expressed her gratitude by liking the post.

The Lucky Me Tour follow her before Small rooms, big nerves run, which featured beloved retro tracks, including Why not and Confess along with songs from their February 2026 album Luck… or something.

The current tour is scheduled to continue well into next year, ending in Zapopan, Mexico on February 15, 2027.

talking to PEOPLE In April, Duff reflected on the difference between the more intimate first shows and the larger stages to come.

“There’s something so sweet about being able to see everyone’s face, and being so intimate and close with everyone, and it was a really great way for me to get started and build confidence, but I feel like I know what I’m doing and I kind of got my reps in,” he said.
