NYT Strands Today (Game #784): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game number 784 are…
- ARGUE
- DIFFER
- QUARREL
- WRANGLE
- COMMON DISPUTE
- QUARREL
- SPANGRAM: LOCKHORNS
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
At first I thought the “Get Into It” theme described new hobbies, like when you take up something new, like baking, modeling railroads, or doing puzzles. Discovering ARGUE put an end to this notion and sent me down the path of enlightenment, or should we say the path of disagreement.
The order in which you identify the words in the game is crucial to how quickly you complete Strands.
If I had watched LOCKHORNS and WRANGLE first, I would have thought we were looking to get into some rodeo action. Obviously we weren’t.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Saturday, April 25, game #783)
- CORNER
- DISCOUNT
- GROCERY
- CONVENIENCE
- SPIRIT
- SPANGRAM: STORE SCALE
