Queen Camilla receives flowers after filing a lawsuit against the Sussexes, according to reports, as new claims emerge ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s expected return to the UK for the Invictus Games next month.
The Queen received a bouquet of flowers from a young member of Rainbows, the youngest section of Girlguiding Scotland.
Members of Brownies and Guides were also seen taking part in the celebrations, reflecting Girlguiding Scotland’s wider involvement in the ceremony.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are said to be preparing for a possible reunion with King Charles during their stay.
However, UK media commentary suggests tensions remain behind the scenes, with reports claiming Queen Camilla has set conditions for any private family gathering.
In a segment about talk television, Presenter Kevin O’Sullivan alleged that the Sussexes may be asked to follow strict rules during any stay at the royal residence, including handing over phones and banning recording devices, amid concerns about potential leaks.
These claims have not been officially confirmed by Buckingham Palace or the Sussexes’ representatives.
The row has also reignited wider commentary about strained relations within the Royal Family, with speculation that any meeting between King Charles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would take place in private and under carefully managed circumstances.
