The royal family issued a statement personally written by the Queen after facing a devastating loss.
On April 17, Queen Mary of Denmark expressed her immense gratitude to her supporters for sending her their support following the death of her father.
For the uninitiated, Denmark’s royals announced the death of Mary’s father, John Dalgleish Donaldson, on April 12. He died at the age of 84.
Sharing an emotional message, Queen Mary wrote: “My sincere thanks for the overwhelming amount of messages, flowers and warm thoughts on my father’s death.
“The enormous empathy has moved us deeply and means more than words can express. HM The Queen.”
Previously, Queen Mary revealed that her heart is very heavy after her father left the world.
In a heartfelt note, she expressed that the love and gratitude that her father gave her will always remain with her at her farewell.
