The 2026 World Cup is underway and with the group stage set to continue until June 27, there are bound to be some surprises in store as the 48 participating teams compete for a place in the knockout rounds.

Who is playing in the World Cup today?
We have four games today, as teams continue to compete for a place in the first of two knockout rounds.
At the time of writing, Germany and Ivory Coast lead Group E with three points each, meaning everything is up for grabs in today’s match.
As for Group F, Sweden has moved up to first place, but there is still time for the Netherlands or Japan (in second place at the moment) to catch up.
